Manas National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and Project Tiger reserve at the foothills of the Bhutan Himalayas in Assam. Home to the rare golden langur, pygmy hog, and hispid hare, all found almost nowhere else on Earth.

Manas is home to some of the world's rarest animals including the pygmy hog and hispid hare.
It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
The park shares a transboundary conservation area with the Royal Manas National Park in Bhutan.
Manas was on UNESCO's danger list from 1992–2011 due to ethnic conflicts but has since recovered.
