About Wild Atlas
Discover India's Wildlife. Explore Its Wild Heart.
Wild Atlas is your gateway to the incredible biodiversity of India, a living encyclopedia of wildlife and national parks built for explorers, conservationists, students, and anyone captivated by the natural world.
What We Do
We bring India's protected wilderness to your fingertips. Whether you're researching the elusive snow leopard, planning a tiger safari in Ranthambore, or simply curious about what lives in the forests near you, Wild Atlas has you covered.
Wildlife Encyclopedia
Explore detailed profiles of mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish found across India. From taxonomy and habitat to conservation status and distinctive features, every species tells a story.
National Parks Directory
Discover 50+ national parks with rich detail: biomes, habitats, safari gates, best seasons to visit, and the conservation designations that protect them.
Sighting-Based Recommendations
We track real wildlife sightings across parks so you can visit where the action is. Want to spot a Bengal tiger? We'll tell you which parks have the highest recent sightings, so your chances of a memorable encounter go way up.
Smart Search
Find what you're looking for with our intelligent search that combines keyword matching, fuzzy search, and AI-powered semantic understanding. Even if you don't know the exact name, we'll find it.
Safari planning in India is broken. You're expected to figure out which park, which gate, which zone, what time, what vehicle, all on your own. And then you land on a dozen different portals, each with its own quirks. We're building something better.
Wild Atlas Bookings will let you book safaris directly through us. No markups, no hidden fees, no middlemen inflating the price. Just transparent, at-cost pricing.
Data-Driven Gate Selection
Not all gates are equal. Based on sighting data, seasonality, and zone activity, we'll recommend the best gate and zone for the animal you want to see. No more guessing.
Optimal Timing
Morning or evening safari? We'll tell you which slot gives you the best odds based on historical sighting patterns and animal activity data.
End-to-End Planning
Pick your animal. We suggest the park. We recommend the gate. We pick the time. You just show up.
No Markup, Ever
We charge what the forest department charges. Zero commission, zero service fees. What you see is what you pay.
Trusted & Transparent
Every recommendation is backed by data, not partnerships. We don't push parks that pay us more. We push parks where you'll see more.
Safari booking should feel as exciting as the safari itself, not like filing a government form. We're working on making that a reality.
Why Wild Atlas?
India is home to over 100 national parks, 500+ wildlife sanctuaries, and some of the planet's most iconic species, yet this information is scattered, incomplete, or hard to navigate. We built Wild Atlas to change that.
- One Place, Everything Wildlife: Animals, parks, sightings, images, facts, and booking, all connected and cross-referenced.
- Spot What You're Looking For: Don't just pick a park and hope for the best. Our sighting data helps you choose the right park, at the right time, for the animal you want to see.
- Conservation at the Core: Every animal profile highlights its conservation status. We believe awareness is the first step toward protection.
- Reliable & Sourced: Our content is backed by citations and curated data, not guesswork.
- Built for Discovery: Featured animals and parks, sighting trends, intelligent recommendations, and a search that actually understands what you mean.
How Sightings Work
Every park in our network has sighting records, recent, historical, and seasonal. When you search for an animal, we rank parks by how frequently that species has been spotted there. We factor in seasonality, time of day, and zone-level data so your safari isn't a gamble. It's a plan.
Planning to visit Kanha in March? We'll show you what's been spotted recently and what your chances look like. Chasing a leopard sighting? We'll point you to the parks where they've been seen most this season.
Our Mission
To make India's wildlife accessible, understandable, and worth protecting, and to make every safari count by putting data behind every decision, from which park to visit to which gate to enter.
