Indravati National Park
One of the last habitats of the wild buffalo in India, Indravati National Park in Chhattisgarh is a remote and biodiverse tiger reserve along the banks of the Indravati River bordering Maharashtra.

Indravati is one of the few remaining habitats of the wild Indian buffalo (Bubalus arnee).
Its remoteness in Bastar has kept it free from mass tourism and ensured habitat integrity.
The park is named after the Indravati River flowing along its northern and western borders.
Bastar tribals including the Muria and Maria Gond communities live in the surrounding areas.
